The Background behind Yachting123.com
Yachting123 was enthused by the idea that the Greek yachting world can be organized so as all yachters and sailors to fully enjoy the Greek seas. Bringing together all of the yacht owners and brokerage agencies and opening up a portal of invaluable information on useful points all over the Greek islands and coasts was just the starting point of our inspiration. Providing sea travelers with an exceptional tool in order to plan their courses in the Greek seas was also another idea that we successfully put in practice!
The Hellenic Ministry of Industry, Information Society Sector, are committed to support the yachting sector in East Mediterranean, and provided funding for yachting123.com.
The Portal has been developed by the Joint Venture Epsilon International SA www.epsilon.gr and iKnowHow SA www.iknowhow.gr. Both organizations are pioneering in information technology solutions as linked to both, the transport & the tourism sectors.
Mission and Vision
Yachting123 is an all-for-yachting and sailing website, aiming at acting as a hub for sailing and yachting in the Greek seas. Our goal is to facilitate your sea travelling adventures and fun, keeping you carefree and your yachts safe.
Our mission is to provide the most specialized, high quality and sophisticated yachting and sailing services in Greece, with an aim of gradually and solidly expanding to the rest of the Mediterranean.
We aspire to facilitate the linking of Mediterranean visitors or tourists & the yachting industry services, as a means to:
- Planning a trip
- Booking or selling a boat
- Obtaining information on navigation and places to visit in Greece with accurate & daily updated information on useful points at your destinations.
Such a web-service did not exist for the East Mediterranean, and has been warmly received by the Yachting Society.
We only publish selected yacht charters and brokerage agencies.
What we do
Yachting123's services can be useful to sea travelers, yachters & sailors as well as yacht owners who want to manage their yachts.
As a traveller, you can use Yachting123.com to book the yacht charter that best suits your needs. Then, we offer you very specific information regarding
- Your sailing passage
- Your sea destination
- Points that that may interest you there (POIs): moorings & marinas, boat management services, nautical instruments & products stores, engineers, boatyards to museums, bars & restaurants, diving schools, car rental agencies and many more!
Still, Yachting123 is not just a website for sea travellers; we can also assist yacht owners to manage their boats. Our Yacht Management section includes all kind of a boat's management options. With your subscription with us, you can
- Track your yacht (our tracking services have a global coverage)
- Put it on sale or rent, and
- Locate any repair services in Greece.
Finally, we hope that our 'Greek Islands' section will help you get a spherical picture of the amazing yachting and sailing possibilities that the Greek seas can offer.
