Ithaki, this little Ionian Island, is as much connected to our ancient tradition and the well-known Odysseus (Ulysses) as with many symbolisms of nostalgia, knowledge and love of the homeland.

Aspros Gialos
This is a beautiful beach with crystal-clear waters looking onto the channel between Ithaki and Kefalonia. It is a favourite and thus well-frequented.
Dexia
This is a small sandy beach with blue waiter, where, it is said, Odysseus landed when he got back to Ithaki.
Filiatro
This is a cosmopolitan beach on the south side of the island, 3 kilometres from Vathy. It is without wind, very clean, with olive trees that come down to the water?s edge. There is also a canteen.
Gidaki
This is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island as far as natural surroundings and the clarity of the water is concerned. It is not accessible by road, but some local boats make the trip. It has a small canteen.
Kourvoulia
The Kourvoulia are a series of small clean beaches on the north of the island, on small green-clad coves along the road from Phrikes to Kioni.
Sarakiniko
This is a quiet beach in a naturally beautiful landscape.
Skinos
This is one of the most frequented beaches on Ithaki, just 3 kilometres from Vathy with a fantastic view towards the north side of the island.
