Paros

A few words about Paros

Paros is one of the biggest islands of the Cyclades. It is famous for the eminent Parian marbles and its excellent wine quality, for its many and important churches ?the most well-known is  the Panagia of Ekatontapyliani - but also for the various archaeological findings that have been brought in light by the excavations. Despite its intense historical background, it is an excellent example of a harmonious matching of the past with the present, of the traditional with the modern. The visitor can enjoy all the modern comforts of a tourist resort in a well preserved natural environment where the tradition, the culture and the particular cultural physiognomy of the place have remained intact from the cultural change.
