Serifos

A few words about Serifos

Serifos is a small island in the Cyclades. Though it shares many similarities with the other Cycladic islands, Serifos is also quite different. Firstly, it is an island where tourism is limited and this becomes immediately apparent to the visitor when looking at the environment of the island which has hardly changed and by the courtesy, kindness and hospitality of its residents.

Serifos is anything but an untapped tourist island and that is precisely what is charming. The place has remained quite clear without any interference and it only remains to discover for you the rare beauty, the wonderful beaches with crystal waters and fine, golden sand. The sights of the island are also few and generally, you can turn to and know well within a few days.

Beaches

Vagia

Vagia is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Located on the southern coast, it lies in the arms of a large bay with crystal clear water and sand. On this side of the island the winds are neither frequent nor strong, so you will have the opportunity to enjoy a quiet swim.

Ganema
The gulf in Ganema is large and rambling, but in this case you will not meet the sand, but pebbles. On the beach there is a restaurant and if you want to find a shadow, you will find scattered trees, grown here and there through the sand.

Lia
The beach of Lia is one of the most charming beaches of Serifos, with fine golden sand and blue waters. It is ideal for those wanting to relax or swim a little more isolated.

Agios Sostis
Agios Sostis is probably the most beautiful beach of Serifos. Essentially this is a wide strip of sand, which connects two clear blue bays.

Psili Amos (Fine Sand)
Psili Amos is certainly the most popular beach in Serifos. You are likely to encounter several sailboats, inflatable and other boats. The waters here are shallow. In addition, you will find nearby a restaurant to eat or something to quench your thirst.
